Escape to the tranquil shores of Hawn Lake in our beautifully refurbished, adults-only retreat. Positioned on the highly desirable lakeside of the park, Chalet 236 offers a premium experience where modern convenience meets coastal calm. As a true “sun trap,” our private enclosed patio captures the warmth from mid-morning through the afternoon, until the sun dips below the trees in the evening.

Since becoming the new owners in 2021, we have fallen in love with this “home from home.” Having completely refurbished the chalet in 2022, we invite you to experience the simpler things in life with all the modern comforts you deserve.

The Living Space & Bedroom

  • Restful Sleep: Featuring a premium King-size pull-down bed with a full-sprung mattress for ultimate comfort. The sleeping area is cleverly segregated from the kitchen by a permanent wall, and the bed tucks away to provide a spacious, airy living area by day.
  • Contemporary Interior: Enjoy sleek laminated flooring throughout and a comfortable lounge area with double doors that open directly onto the lake views.
  • Modern Shower Room: Accessed via a space-saving sliding door, featuring an electric shower, heated towel rail, toilet, and wash hand basin.

Gourmet Kitchen

Our galley kitchen is fully equipped for effortless catering with high-end integrated appliances, including:

  • Dishwasher (a rare luxury!)
  • Integrated Fridge/Freezer
  • Full Oven, 2 Ring Induction Hob & Microwave
  • Kettle, toaster, and all the essential dining ware required for your stay.

Lakeside Living & Wildlife

Dunster Beach is a haven for flora and fauna. Watch herons nesting directly behind the chalet on Hawn Lake or enjoy the frequent visits from local wildlife. Your private, enclosed rear patio is perfectly equipped for relaxation with:

  • A dining set (Table & 4 chairs)
  • Two reclining sun loungers
  • A parasol/umbrella (stored in the outdoor unit)

Essential Guest Information

To maintain the high standard of Chalet 236, we ask guests to note the following:

  • Linen: Please bring your own bed linen (duvets, duvet covers, sheets, pillows, and pillowcases) as well as personal towels and tea towels. For your comfort, the mattress is fitted with a high-quality protector/topper.
  • Connectivity: Fast Wi-Fi is included via a dedicated broadband wireless router.
  • Occupancy: This chalet is strictly 2 Adults Only and we are unable to accept pets.
  • TV: Make use of your streaming subscriptions with our internet connected TV
  • Smoking: In line with site policy, smoking is strictly forbidden inside the chalet.
  • Arrival & Departure: To ensure our stringent cleaning standards are met, the chalet will be ready for occupation from 3:00 PM on your day of arrival. We kindly ask that the chalet is left tidy and clean, and vacated by 10:00 AM on the day of your departure.
