Tropiquaria Zoo is one of the most unique zoos or wildlife parks in the country. The former “Art Deco” BBC radio transmitter station originally built in 1933, now houses our Tropical Hall, Nocturnal House and Aquarium. Outside we have 4 acres of animal enclosures, along with our two life size pirate ships, and adventure castle.

The Steam Coast Trail is a beautiful, traffic-free path that runs for 2km alongside Dunster Beach. Perfect for a gentle walk, bike ride, scoot or jog – it’s super smooth for also great for wheelchairs and mobility scooters. There are benches and bike racks so it’s great for taking in the view!
West Somerset Railway offers travel through the Somerset countryside to the coast. Travelling behind heritage steam and Diesel locomotives between Bishops Lydeard and Minehead.
