KEVIN POMEROY: 23/2/58 – 28/7/25

Dunster Beach chalets were Kevin and my ‘Happy Place’. A place of peace and tranquillity, ‘away from it all’ where time seemed to stand still and the sun always seemed to shine. We made many happy memories, watching the wildlife: the geese in flight and rabbits hopping around and even venturing onto the patio at dusk. We loved to spend time by the lake feeding the ducks and would often bring ‘birdfeeders’ for the patio and watch the array of birds having their fill. We witnessed beautiful sunsets and marvelled at the sound of puffing steam trains reminiscent of bygone days.

Over the years, we stayed in a number of chalets, usually beachside chalets – number 147 Serendipity became our firm favourite.

At Dunster life was simple and unhurried. A magical and special place that Kevin and I loved. Whether it was a whole week or just a few days, we’d always come away feeling refreshed, lighter and at peace. I do believe it was a kind of heaven on earth – Rest in Peace my beloved Kevin, ‘til we meet again.
